The world of high-speed laser marking has reached its maximum limit, mainly due to the dynamic characteristics of marking heads. This problem is difficult to overcome with traditional technologies. Even the new solutions currently being offered on the market fail to resolve these issues and often prove to be complex, inefficient and costly. At SAMS, we have patented a brand-new solution, compatible with any type of laser source, that allows us to go beyond these limitations, paving the way for marking speeds never seen before, while also reducing costs.

Today’s demands and future regulations (e.g., Digital Product Passport, GS1 Sunrise 2027)  require not only greater productivity but also the ability to mark richer and more complex data —such as variable information and 2D codes— with precision and consistency throughout the entire supply chain. In this context, conventional laser systems struggle to keep up: their performance is inherently limited, and increasing productivity often requires installing and operating multiple markers in parallel to achieve the required speed. The result is greater complexity, larger footprints, and higher costs.
OUR PROPOSAL
SAMS has overcome the limits of traditional systems through an innovative approach based on multiple laser sub-beams working cooperatively. Within the same physical footprint of a standard laser marker, this technology delivers significantly higher performance, effectively doubling operational capacity or enabling substantially richer data marking within the same cycle time.
By generating two or more beams from a single laser source, SAMS achieves over 40% higher marking speed, reduces overall cycle time, and expands the marking area—allowing more information to be applied with exceptional efficiency. Fully compatible with all major laser sources, from CO₂ and fiber to UV and ultra-short pulse lasers, this solution sets a new benchmark in high-speed laser marking.
